GrammarKey processes the text you submit for grammar correction or rewriting. This text is sent to our Cloudflare Worker proxy and then forwarded to OpenAI's API to generate a corrected result. We do not store, log, or retain any text you submit.
Text you submit is used solely to produce the corrected or rewritten output returned to you. We do not use your text to train AI models, and we do not share it with any third party beyond OpenAI for the purpose of generating the response.
GrammarKey uses the OpenAI API to process text. OpenAI may process your input according to their own privacy policy, available at openai.com/policies/privacy-policy. Your text is transmitted securely over HTTPS and is not stored by OpenAI beyond the duration of the API call under OpenAI's standard API terms.
GrammarKey offers auto-renewable subscriptions ($2.99/month or $14.99/year, with a 7-day free trial where eligible) processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. Manage your subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
We do not maintain any database of user-submitted text or personal data. Keyboard usage data (free-use count, subscription status) is stored locally on your device in an app group shared between the keyboard extension and the main app. The app may send anonymous, aggregate event counters (e.g. "a paywall was shown") to our server to measure feature usage; these contain no text, no identifiers, and cannot be linked to you.
GrammarKey is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Continued use of GrammarKey after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
